To watch along with us load up the english language stream of Dominion 6.11 on NJPW World, make sure your timecode is set to 3:52:44, and push play when you hear Frank crack the Croix.

On this week's off-season joint join your boys Frank, Charlie and Tom as they rap about the highs and lows of every smark's favorite hour of wrestling - NXT. They talk about the peaks and valleys of the show's history and try to figure out whether or not the brand has already peaked.

THEN, your boys head over to good ole metro lyrics dot com and do some deep-dive-and-analysis on the lyrics to Randy Orton's "Voices." Crack a Croix and join us, won't you?

Remember, the off-season won't last forever and we need match suggestions from you, the listener. Hit us up on twitter @TIAPOD or e-mail us at thisisawesomepod@gmail.com

In this week's very special episode of the TIA off-season, Tom asks your boys Frank & Chuck whether or not there is a place in the sports entertainment landscape for youth wrestling. Would a kids division ever work on a national brand? Could it be an organized performance/athletic event at the high school or college level? Would it be any more dangerous than cheerleading or playing football?

Then, Frank challenges Tom and Chuck to go head to head in his Finishing Move Name Game. The stakes couldn't be higher as the loser ends up with an agonizing homework assignment.

Remember, if you have match suggestions for us to watch for Season 3 hit us up @TIAPOD on twitter or e-mail us at thisisawesomepod.com

May 25, 2017

On this week's off-season episode, Joaquin, Frank, Chuck and Tom gather together to talk about their favorite gimmicks that for whatever reason never quite got over.

Then, we explore the deep, dark recesses of wrestling fan-fiction with another edition of Tom's Swerve Game! Anime run ins, disturbing ska dreams and an all-ages spelling bee - we get real weird with it.

As ever, if you have awesome match suggestions e-mail us at thisisawesomepod@gmail.com or tweet us @TIAPOD. The new season is right around the corner and we want to know what you want us to watch!

And of course, you can listen to every episode of the show and learn a little bit about us as our landing page thisisawesomepod.com

It's intervention time again at TIA as we sift through Joaquin's ever-growing wrestling t-shirt collection and decide the 10 best of all time. Then, your boys go head-to-head in our first ever PPV Them Stat game. Play along and see if you know more about Papa Roach, Gavin Rossdale and Rev Theory than your pod boys. Winner gets a case of Croix!

May 11, 2017

David Arquette is arguably the best champion in the history of professional wrestling. So to celebrate, the boys kick back and watch the "not so-" classic WCW Triple Cage Match from Slamboree 2000 in this off-season special!

May 4, 2017

It's the first episode of the off season! The boys loosen their ties and take aim at a list of wrestling tropes that we might be better off without... Then, the hat games return to a massive pop, as we swap the gimmicks of WWE Superstars in a game inspired by the Ultra Mega 1996 Box Office Smash Hit, "The Island of Dr. Moreau."

Apr 27, 2017

It's finale time again at TIA so that means the booth expands from three men to four. Joaquin, Frank, Chuck and Producer Tom gather together to reflect on what they've learned in the second leg of their informal research project with zero methodology.

Also, in a first for This Is Awesome, your boys are joined by cartoonist, illustrator and professional wrestler Andy Belanger aka Bob "The Animal" Anger! They talk Andy's origins as a pro wrestler, his philosophy in the ring, and the importance of character inside the squared circle.

This week, your boys head across the pond to the Electric Ballroom in Camden and watch a No Disqualification match for the PROGRESS Championship as the extraordinary Will Ospreay challenges the maniacal Jimmy Havoc.

Joaquin, Frank and Chuck ask the big questions for the final match of the season. Questions like: Why is a British guy willingly drinking a Budweiser? How many AFI songs is enough AFI songs? And does using an axe raise or lower the technicality of a match?

Crashing the party this week to help your boys make sense of the insanity is TV's Jason Gibbs!
